E Contractors stood as the general contractor of choice for the City of Houston. Our responsibilities encompassed the provision of workforce, resources, oversight, machinery, tools, insurance, taxes, overheads, and all associated expenditures necessary for the complete removal and subsequent installation of the playground equipment at Verde Forest Park, situated at 8800 Brock Park Blvd., Houston, Texas, under the purview of the Houston Parks & Recreation Department (HPARD).
The scope of services included, but was not limited to, the subsequent actions:
• Dismantling the current benches, swing set, and concrete pads for the benches.
• Supplying the GameTime owner’s Kit.
• Delivering and setting up the new playground equipment, including the Tangles web Play System (TS-09013-21-2A2R1) and the GameTime Two-bay Prime Time Swing frame, equipped with two belts and two enclosed tot seats.
• Provision of sixty-six (66) GameTime surfacing accessories, along with twelve-inch Playcurbs, two accessible curbs, and two rolls of Geotextile Fabric.
• Installing the GT-Impax Engineered Wood Fiber safety surfacing, compacted at a depth of twelve inches, covering approximately 2,753 square feet.
• Supplying and setting up a six-foot-long bench with a pedestal, designed by Pilot Rock (OWRB-CB-6CO34).
• Executing the removal of the existing three benches and subsequent installation of three new wooden benches, each accompanied by a 5-feet by 8-feet by 4-inch concrete pad.
